Arris routers come with pre-configured default web-based configuration interface settings which can be manually changed by logging into the user account. That account can be logged in by accessing the Arris router page with the unique web-address. Many users often call arris router customer service to get technical assistance for router configuration.
· If you have not configured the Arris router yet, you can do so by connecting to the “arris54g” Wi-Fi network.
Or, you can also try connecting your router with the Ethernet cable.
· Now type in the unique web address into the browser’s address bar which is “192.168.2.1” and press enter to access the router’s status page.
· At the top of the page, you will see a “log in” button which you have to click to access your account.
· Type in your password into the given password box and submit the request by clicking on “submit”.
· You will see different set up links at the left of the page which you can access and navigate to modify and choose the settings according to your convenience.
To log into the account, you will need account password which usually blank when you access the account for first time. After first log in, you can set a password for you router account so that you can use it for your next log in. The above steps are meant for accessing the “virtual server” page of the Arris router account.
